The Choice

This is a hidden gem in South City. I'm almost reluctant to post a review because I want the restuarant to become overcrowded ...especially the days when I'm there (sorry not sorry). In September 2019, I hosted a Sunday family dinner after church for my son's birthday. It was the 1st time many of my family members visited the restaurant. No complaints. Our server even sang a special rendition of Happy Birthday to my 9yr old. Personal attention, cozy atmosphere, meatless side items, and delicious soul food makes this a FAVORITE place for Sunday dinners...or any day I don't want to cook. I request: Please add fountain drinks.

The decor is exquisite. The owner Lillian C. is friendly and professional. The menu choices are excellent. The only concern I have is the salt in the pork chops, too much salt!! Definitely a date night out experience. Travis Brooks goes above and beyond good customer service ???? ???? ????

The food on the buffet was not the best. I got the all you can eat and they did not have any thing out there to get. The food was cold the lady at the buffet line did not kno what see was serving. The sweet tea was not sweet and the server was was the worst I ever had. I will not be back.
