My companion and I stopped in for lunch and coffee on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The line was long but moving steadily. Once we ordered, we were given a sign and were off to find a place to sit… which was no easy task!! This place is very popular, which I love to see. There were a lot of places to sit, but we had to look around before we found a place, it was definitely crowded. We were served the coffee first, I got a hot latte with my choice of rosemary syrup added, and my companion got an iced dirty chai latte. They were both good, but nothing to knock our socks off. When the food came, it was the exact same thing. It was good, but nothing I think either of us would travel across town for. Still, the popularity of this restaurant is impressive, it looks like they are doing well, and good for them. Definitely a cool place to hang out with friends and eat decently good food with coffee on the side, in a neat part of the outskirts of the city with cool houses in the area. Last note is t

I’m here right now. I ordered 3 eggs over medium with an order of crispy bacon 2 pieces of sourdough toast. I got 3 eggs over crispy with well done whites and very limp see through bacon . I was told by the server that they put the bacon under a steamer and not on the grill . What ? My wife got the yogurt and granola with dried and fresh fruit. There was no dried fruit of any kind. They sent out 4 slices of orange as the fresh fruit. That was the only fruit in the place. I’m giving 3stars because they are not horrible nasty people . The attention to the details were definitely overlooked. I’m sure they will be fantastic on other days . If they can’t get certain things from their suppliers they should go to sams, Costco or restaurant depot to get what they need. This is not a restaurant chain like bob evens so they shouldn’t be bound to any supplier contracts. The people were nice the tea was good.

It’s a famous breakfast/ brunch place. We got the recommendation in our favorite food vlog on YouTube. So we decided to hit the place. It was a Saturday morning, and we had to wait for 10 minutes, as the place was fully packed. It’s a pretty hip, and cool place with a laid back environment. You can park on the street. We took our morning coffee here. The coffee was good. The breakfast was even more good. I ate the American breakfast whereas my bf took the famous mud slinger, which is pretty iconic to STL. Both the dishes were absolutely terrific. I can’t recommend more.
