A must-visit when I'm in town. Attentive and personable service. Great beer list for draft and even more so with bottles. Hearty portions left us full and happy. We doubled up on gumbo and main dishes, with enough to take home for another meal. … More
We just happened onto this amazing restaurant. We are from Texas so was a bit apprehensive about eating Cajun food away from home. Well after first bite we were amazed. The food was really good and authentic. Wendy our server was very attentive and made some really good recommendations. However for me the dessert was the hit. Had fried Twinkies with raspberry sauce and ice cream. Yum Yum ????
We were told this place is a “must try” because we’re from New Orleans and moved to SLC a year ago. Service was great. Food is just okay. Gumbo was fairly good. Etouffee could use some work. Red beans and rice is 90% rice so that dish was a complete let down, especially for the price. Definitely recommend considering serving cornbread (with the red beans) and French bread (with the etouffee) for a more authentic dish. We appreciated the Crystal hot sauce rather than Tabasco! Anybody from the south knows Crystal is superior lol
