Sushi Burrito on 8th

Inside so small n not very welcoming. The cook was chatting up a storm with some random lady. the menu being on the wall makes it hard to see if there's a lot of people waiting in line to order. Husband wanted to have half chicken half beef bento box. But they wouldn't accommodate him so he settled and got only chicken. :/ he asked why not and they couldn't provide an answer. Outside eating area is super depressing. My sushi burrito was super mid. I got the #5. I wasn't expecting tomatoes, and cooked salmon (thought it was gonna be raw? I dint think it said cooked on the menu...) Wouldn't come back.

Best sushi burritos in slc! The staff was friendly and able to accommodate a late takeout for us . We order #2, 11 and #13 and they were all pretty good , they were really flavorful and fresh , definitely going back to try more of their burritos ???? … More

Edit: Third trip was also very good. I tried the citrus. I missed the fried aspect, and I’d probably opt to add it in the future. Edit: second trip was just as good. I added seaweed salad and it was great. Really great spot for sushi burritos. I ordered takeout off Uber Eats. The order was ready on time and marked as ready (I’ve had it happen a lot on grubhub that the order is not marked ready until after I pick it up). The prices are fair. The restaurant itself is definitely a hole in the wall and kind of dumpy. The area is not the best, a lot of homeless around. The kitchen seemed clean and the staff were super nice. I would have no qualms about ordering takeout or delivery. The burrito was plenty for the price. It was delicious! I tried the California sumo, which comes loaded with crab and deep fried. Super tasty and plenty of food, I was stuffed!
