Taste of Tokyo

Taste of Tokyo is amazing. Me and my family have been visiting this place for over a year and this has been the our to-go restaurant to eat out for dinner. The sushi taste absolutely great. I recommend zoom-zoom and caterpillar, they taste amazing. The staff is super nice and friendly. The atmosphere is clean and cozy. Will always be me and my family’s #1 restaurant.

This review is being made even though we did not eat here. The staff was welcoming and friendly. They no longer have the all you can eat option, due to covid precautions. However, the quality of their staff reflects the quality of their food. I still recommend this restaurant and will be back again once they AYCE options again.

Best sushi and sashimi place in Buffalo Grove! We ordered nigiri, sashimi, and couple rolls and oh my everything we ordered were so delicious and fresh! It’s hard to find fresh sushi in midwest unless it’s a super fancy/expensive restaurant (still their sushi might not be fresh). We love their Sashimi Delux. We always order California roll for our 4 year old and usually most restaurants don’t put a lot of “love” into California rolls because it doesn’t contain fish and it’s cheapest + easiest to make. But this place, you can tell that the chef treats all his food and orders equally!! The owner and chef were very friendly, welcoming, and lovely, which is always a plus.
