The 5 stars is for their Carnitas Plate. I'm not sure about the rest of their food, bit if it's anything like this plate, then it's probably good. Plate came with chips, rice, beans, greens, and tortilla priced at $14. Not bad considering how expensive NorCal is. Carnitas tested without salsa - tastes great ???? Greens were fresh, tortilla hot, and chips were crunchy. I have only gone once and ordered to go so I cannot comment on the personality of the restaurant, but they were friendly at checkout. I would eat here again.
An outstanding taqueria, been here many times. If you hanker for tacos, burritos etc this is a great place. They have shaded outdoor seating for those 92 degree days too. One thing I particularly noticed on last visit - we got burritos to take into the Stanford game and I pleasantly surprised that eating one over my lap, there was no grease dripping. Spicy (as in do you want your burrito mild or spicy) is not particularly spicy here, so if you like it hot get extra salsa to add.
I would come here alot back in the day and it was great,i decided to stop by and eat here again but this place has gone down hill,nobcustomers service and apparently the cook says the bitterly burnt bread on the Torta is how he normally prepares it.Never coming back to this place
