We found this place last month when road closures & lack of police directing traffic caused us to miss reservations elsewhere. This is a friendly, welcoming family restaurant featuring Ottoman food, but which also features hamburgers & crispy french fries. The first time, my friend had a small house salad with falafel, and I had the falafel sandwich. Both were delicious with generous portions of fresh ingredients. We shared creamy hummus & pita. In the past, falafel I have had elsewhere was the color of light tan chickpeas. These have a crispy brown fried exterior and a bright, fluffy green interior, so delicious. Our second visit, I ordered the enormously portioned Mediterranean salad with falafel, baba ganoush & pita; a friend had the same salad (we could have split one and had leftovers) with falafel. There is a "build your own salad" option, which I might try to get a smaller Mediterranean salad. The owners are happy to explain ingredients and culture. I am eager to try the moussa
We made a quick stop here for some baklava. Noticed they also made smoothies so we ordered a strawberry smoothie and a mango smoothie along with the baklava. The smoothies were incredibly good. Tasted like drinking a mango and a strawberry. The baklava was excellent as well. We didn't try any of their other food but saw some of their dishes at other tables and they didn't look like they would disappoint.
I stopped for a quick meal, and chose gyro salads, it was a very nice salad, with a lot of meat, chunks of feta cheese and lettuce. It came with a great pita. I really enjoyed the food in this place. My friend took a wrap and enjoyed it as well.
