Giovanni's Pizza & Pasta

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! PLEASE READ!!! This IS THE Giovanni’s in town on 6th st. Placed an order for pickup. Pizza - ok Raviloli - mediocre Italian hoagie - SEE PICTURES! The meat was rancid, it SMELLED! Made my daughter gag; was NOT edible! Called and asked for a manager, was placed on hold. Someone else picked up, on hold again. This happened 2 more times before a manager picked up. Told them about the hoagie and asked them to refund me for the hoagie. Manager said, “sure, if you bring it back”. WHAT?! So we did. I took the hoagie down and told them to smell the meat, look at it! I demanded a full refund due to the inappropriate handling of this situation. The manager had no empathy and did not care at all. I WILL be calling and visiting tomorrow! I will also be calling the health department due to how rancid this meat looked, smelled, and tasted!

I've lived in so many cities and I have to say the 5-Cheese Pizza at Giovanni's is one of the best Pizzas I've EVER had. My husband finds it a bit salty tasting, I do not and it's my new favorite pizza so far that I've ever had. The crust is nice and on the thinner side, but you can tell it's baked to perfection. The flavor is just amazing. I suggest you try it!

I want to begin by saying the staff here were working very hard. They were one of the only places down town that was open for a food run after a concert let out. I went in to the pizza shop in person to order. They had a line, maybe 10-12 people ahead. There were some seats open to sit down and wait. The line moved pretty quickly, but once I ordered and paid, it took 65 minutes for me to get one order of chicken fingers and fries. (Over $20.00 for four chicken fingers, one order of fries and two bottles of water). I was waiting close to the counter so I could see most orders were pizzas. I can understand the oven getting backed up but hardly any orders I watched get distributed were involving the fryer. I think a big issue was all the people ordering online then showing up for carry out. They need to shut online ordering down when they are that backed up. I never would have placed an order if I knew I was going to wait that long. Had I not prepaid I would have walked out. No one was
