Our experience at this place was so horrible that it saddens me to see how many five-star reviews this place has. We ordered two ribeye steaks and both came charred and tasted extremely bitter. We ended up sending the steaks back but was told that the bitter taste was the “unique flavor that comes with the wood fired grill”. The fact that they use this as an excuse for their poor cooking skills was a disgrace to wood fired grills. The “unique flavor” should never be so strong that it completely masks the flavor of the steak itself. Don’t even get me started with the cook/manager’s (not really sure who the guy was) condescending attitude. Eventually they ended up using the iron grill to cook another two steaks for us. Unfortunately the steaks came out well done instead of medium (see photos). No sane person in the world would call this medium. To be fair I can tell that the steaks themselves were of high quality and taste. It was just disappointing that they were ruined by the cook(s).
One of our favorites and I ALWAYS recommend it. The good is amazing. The steak is tender and flavorful. We started with the fugazzo. We could've eaten 3 it was so good. The rosemary braised beef and the carne did not disappoint. Our 6yo daughter ate the quiqui wings. Service was on point. We didn't wait for drinks, refills or our food. The restaurant and restrooms are clean and we're big enough for my daughter and I.
What an amazing dinner! My fiancée and I stopped in during our trip and were blown away by how amazing the food was. Worth every penny. Will definitely be back! Shout out to Steve for being such an insightful and welcoming server!! … More
