Steak 'n Shake

This place was not good at all! Good was not cooked fully, frozen fruits mixed in with cold cooked fries. It was absolutely disgusting. The sandwiches we got were not fully cooked. We had a large order as we were on a trip. Still no excuse for raw food. The service was as bad as the food. They had stuff missing, horrible attitude. The shakes? Lmao.... more like whipcreams! Ice cream was about 2inches in bottom of cup the rest was whipped cream. Sadly again unacceptable. Order for 4 adults ended up about $80 wasted. Place needs shut down if that's the way they play. Visit was Sept 25th about 5-7pm.

Drive through might be better, but dine in is horrendous. We had to order on a kiosk, which is no fun. Then about 40 percent of the tables were dirty, a few still had baskets left from prior guests. They forgot my bottled water, and if you want more than one packet of sauce you will have to pay extra. In the end, food was more expensive than some good restaurants with service and better food. Very disappointed, as S&S used to be one of my favorite places to eat years ago.

They have a new “self-serve” ordering system. Fairly easy to navigate, but definitely not for everyone. Employees were scrambling trying to fix orders. The place was clean and employees were trying, but the new system will definitely be challenging for the customers as there’s no personal touch.
