Steak 'n Shake

Now I see why always empty. S&S really gone downhill over the years. Totally self serve now, more expensive than worth it, and less menu options. Went inside to eat, we were two only 2 people inside for 45+ minutes. 7 employees inside yelling and screaming in the back “excited that my shift is over”. Dirty floors, all napkin dispensers empty, when I asked employee if they had any napkins she said “oh wow are they empty??!” If you were doing your job you’d see that. No way they’ll last much longer, sad

Very disappointed. This location. Has now gone to kiosk ordering. It ask if you want to leave a tip. We left a tip thinking ok they will bring the food to our table. Nope, we had to get up to grab our meal. Our friend ordered a shake, more than half the shake was whipped cream. Now, the cleanliness of the restaurant, the floor was extremely sticky where our flip flops stick to it and the bathrooms were nasty. We won't be back. Use to love steak and shake but its gone downhill.

Corporate really needs to take a look at this place. You walk in and it has a horrible smell. You have to do the kiosk thing and then I asked for a tip but I figured OK will you bring me my drink and my food, wrong they did neither. Waited a long time for food it was fine. We decided to order milkshakes, that was a big mistake. Waited over 40 minutes for milkshakes and they weren’t that good. I’m also very disappointed in the menu so many things haven’t taken off the menu. We first sat in a booth in the middle of the restaurant but we’re getting dripped on decided that was gross so we decided to sit in the booth on the side there is water puddles everywhere the roof is leaking very unsanitary. There wasn’t even a trashcan in the bathroom how are the employees washing their hands and really weird out by that. I see that all the most recent reviews are saying the same thing I hope corporate comes in because after today’s experience I don’t think I’m gonna go to steak and shake again an
