Spatch Kitchen and Cocktails

I cannot say enough good things about this recent addition to Addison. They have the best blackened items that I’ve had in the metroplex the fettuccine Alfredo is home made. The most excellent staff and bar keeps. I’m really glad I took a chance on this place and although it’s a little pricey you know where the money went.

Ok, so first off, what an adorable place. This restaurant has been several restaurants and reiterations, I have been to all of them, Spatch has the coolest. Walking in there is an entryway with hanging plants and tall planters, definitely sets the vibe for a unique feel of the space. The restaurant is bright, pops of colorful artistic tile on the bar and in the kitchen area, Whitewood siding and a clean aesthetic. You can see into the kitchen which is always a fun experience for diners. Our server was phenomenal! She had great recommendations and great follow-up, very friendly and engaging. We started off with a pomegranate margarita and the signature bird drink which was so cute! Probably one of the cutest drinks I've ever received! Absolutely horrible experience… I would not recommend this place to anyone it takes a lot for me to leave a negative review but when we got there it was about 6:15 it took a ridiculous amount of time to get our drinks and when they arrived they weren’t cold whatsoever and the frozen drink was completely melted.. it wasn’t our servers fault at all the drinks didn’t sit at the bar she was the only server working so she was doing amazing for what she could accomplish. We decided to order an appetizer ( the cornbread ) and it took about 20 minutes to come out.. upon reaching the table it was ice cold and a bit burnt. After the first few flavorless bites my mouth was as dry as a desert. It tasted absolutely horrific and I’ve never had such an experience at a restaurant … after an additional 15 minutes we decided to just get a check and leave.
