First time to Chicago. Had to try a real deep dish. Back home we just have a local Pizzeria Uno chain and frankly I have never been a big fan of their deep dish, way too bready of a crust. BUT this Lou Malnati's deep dish is nothing like PU's. Crust is more pie like (with their famous buttercrust), thinner and crispier. This pie paired with a nice Chianti was heaven. Nice job! In the Chicago vs NYC pizza debate, I will unfortunately have to side with NYC... ???? I will try def have this again though.
Very good pizza. I got personal size with chicken sausage, onions, peppers and mushrooms. Well done and with extra sauce. No problem getting a table around 3pm on Saturday. I liked better than Giordano’s where I got same thing. About $30 with tip for a six inch pizza. I think each topping is too expensive and all adds up.
Our 2nd time coming to this place because the flavors do not disappoint!. We love the crunchy, crispy thin crust pizza as well as the toppings. I love the flavor of the tomato sauce used for the pizza and dipping sauce. The ranch is also delicious. I recommend the combination platter as a great appetizer option because it has a little bit of everything and the verity is delicious. They do offer alcoholic beverages but don’t have mixed drinks only beer, wine or cocktails in a can. We did not have to wait to be seated and all the staff were friendly and attentive. Our server was great as well. Parking is usually not hard to find but not free. Delicious food overall and nice time.
