Sonic Drive-In

I order on the app routinely, and arrive at a stall, input my stall number so they know I've arrived. They will immediately clock out my order (telling me it's on the way) and make me wait another 10 minutes before actually bringing me my order. This has happened at several sonic's in the area. I've even had to hit the button more than once just to get them to remember I was waiting. They're just trying to save their average time per order so they look better for their bosses.

Normally have a decent experience at this location. But tonight we got two sonic blasts. Started eating them and they were super grainy. Went back and told them and they said "yeah we probably need to clean our machines." Yikes! That is gross. Machines should be cleaned daily. Luckily we got our money back but feeling disgusted that we ate ice cream from a machine that they admitted needed to be cleaned.

This location has continually been a disappointment to me. The staff has always been rude. Last time I went, I ordered a sweet tea with vanilla and cream, I drove away from the window to discover they put lime in it instead, and that was their second attempt at making it right. I personally think it was the most putrid thing I’ve ever put in my mouth- I threw the whole thing away at the QT down the street. Tonight I actually got what I ordered from another rude carhop and I received a full cup of ice with hardly any drink. If you can, I would suggest going to the 21st and Tyler location, they actually have their act together. 1/5/22 Update- The manager called me after I posted this. He explained he had talked to the employees involved, and wanted to send a gift card to give them another chance. I agreed. This was back in October/November and I still haven’t received anything.
