I usually take pictures of the food before I eat it but I couldn't wait. Amazing food, great Bloody Mary, Fabulous Coffee. That said, the service topped it all. I've had an expense account for 20ish years and am basically a professional restaurant patron. McKenzie is easily in the top 5 of all the servers I've ever met, if not the best of all time.
Snooze is a great place for classic breakfast fare. It’s best to arrive very early or about 1.5 hours before closing time if you plan to go in the weekends so you don’t have to wait. It can get very busy during brunch time. The pancakes were fluffy, big and delicious and our omelette were great and fresh as well. I would definitely recommend their tasty bacon as well. Snooze has a big inside area and a large patio to eat outside as well during cooler weather. The staff was super friendly and we were seated very quickly and had great service overall. 4 stars since its only enjoyable during off times due to the typical large wait time and since the bacon was a little burnt.
Very cool place! I liked the vibe, the menu options, the food I did order, it was all great. I'll definitely be back. The ONLY thing that brought it down for me was the rush. I went around 9 a.m., all the tables were filled but there was a sitting bar. The waitress came my way and immediately began asking me what I wanted, before offering even a menu or a drink. From there the entire experience was a giant rush. There's a fine line between extra-attentive service and being blasted out the door, and this felt like the latter. I get that they were busy, and I feel maybe they were just trying to provide good service. It's just a shame that my first visit was so hurried. I'll probably go during a weekday when it's hopefully a little more relaxed and see if it's any better. Vegetarian options: Half of nearly all the menu options were vegan or vegetarian.
