Stopped in on our way to a show at The Eccles Theater. This was a short walk from the event, but far enough out to avoid the crowds. The food quality is high, the dishes are authentic, and the options, although limited, leave you wanting to share with your friends so you can try them all (which is exactly what we did). Coffee was great, no cream or sugar needed. Our food came out quickly so we got in and out in a snap. I want to go back and shop their German market as soon as I can. The candy and deli counter look awesome. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp entrances made it very accessible to get in and out to the order counters, staying to eat may be more of a challenge with how clustered the seating is.
Good place to get your German food fix. Had Goulash and Wienerschnitzel, both very good. German beer on tap.. Lots of German grocery items as well. Will be back Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes … More
This place is equal part unique, scrumptious and well valued. Sure this is standard on every pedestrian German, but so happy to have one of them here. Only issue is that everyone else wants to eat here too, so lines all day long. Even though it is cafeteria style restaurant, so much business goes through that everything is fresh and efficient. Even houses an indigenous store and deli. Cool German beers also. This will be my first stop next time in SLC. I wish there was a similar place like this at home in Vegas. Good job!!!
