Shorty's Diner

Stopped here for breakfast. Despite being crowded we were seated and a server came over promptly. She, Jessica, was very polite and attentive. The cook, Tony, however was rude and obnoxious. I could hear him yelling condescending things about the modifications I asked for to my entrée (I don't eat pork so I asked for a sub of pastrami in my omelet)My food was grossly underseasoned and unevenly cooked. My "home fries" were a combo of burned, oily, and undercooked. My entree was an omelet that was loaded with unevenly cut and unevenly softened vegetables. Tony, you have way too much attitude for the mediocre food you're serving. Do better!

Food was great, although it steamed some in the to-go containers it was ready well ahead of GrubHubs estimate. My only complaint would be that I listed peanut butter as a side item with the Corn Beef hash and utensils and got neither. Just had to eat dry toast. The hospital luckily has some utensils on hand as I was surprising my wife after her surgery with those amazing banana pancakes. Parking: Plenty of parking!

Got some food delivered to my house and I was NOT disappointed. It came quickly and everything was cooked to perfection.
