Today was the first time trying this restaurant. I ordered the turkey wings with rice and gravy, Mac and cheese, and collard greens. Long story short… EVERYTHING was nasty! The turkey wings was still red from being undercooked… the rice fresh… the greens was fresh, and the Mac and cheese was a total let down!! $25 down the drain!!! First and last????
I had a wonderful experience as my meal was absolutely delicious and well prepared. My fish, yams, cabbage and cornbread was to die for (next time I will get 2 of their hot water cornbread). Started in the car and finished at home. Amazing. I live close so I will be back often!
Didn't even order made an attempt to ask questions before hand and was immediately met with attitude and flies. For a buffet style restaurant with no coverings on the food why have the front door wide open?? Food smelled nice but looked unappealing. Dodged a bullet on this one, No thank you. Made an effort to support a black owned business in another state. Did not pass the vibe check.
