Shake Shack New Haven

This is for people who plan to work here. Don’t. They don’t particularly treat their employees fair and there is quite a bit of favoritism. Not only that, it is unsafe to work here as well. From black mold above the washing sink, cutting cans open with knives, bad storage practices (can easily sprain an ankle or pull a muscle in your back) machines that only partially work, grill that has leaked gas before and wouldn’t turn on for a month which by the way may blow up any minute who knows because Shake Shack INC doesn’t really give a damn about funding this store for new equipment it so desperately needs. And a central air system that works when it wants. A huge influx of employees had been fired or left, due to the dread they felt every time they had to go into work. Short staffed? Expect to go through a 7 or 8 hour shift with no break or stay and close three or more stations until well past the time you clock out. For all the stress you’re put under, it is not worth near killing you

Amazing food and incredibly kind people who truly strive to serve their customers. There's a new employee who worked for a little over a week and needed help with the cash register. I could tell she was feeling terrible about the hold up, and I insisted that cash takes time to get used to. I was incredibly pleased to see one of her colleagues help her through the process, and it was definitely worth the wait... not only did they have uniquely crafted food and delicious naturally flavoured juice, the colleagues help their fellow colleagues when the help is really needed, and it gave me alot of faith and hope for humanity. If you are near Yale, New Haven, please give Shake Shack a try.

A bit overpriced but it's Shake Shack! The burger was good but the milk shake was the best. The burger bun was perfect. I ordered cookies and cream milkshake and it was the best. Came here on lunch time and it was pretty busy but managed to get a seat. Sit by the window cause the view outside was beautiful. My first time trying Shake Shake but did not disappoint.
