Ordered the “surf & turf” burrito. A hefty serving of spicy goodness. KJ at the bar made a tasty skinny margarita. All the staff were quick to help with suggestions and orders. Thank you.

The California burrito is full of fries, and the meat they put in there is full of fat and gristle so gross I gave them a second try and it was the same 2 burritos $40... salsa is terrible also

Grubby's is a decent spot for basic Mexican cuisine. The store front is clean but fun, a bright pink sign adorned above the outdoor area. You walk right in towards the cash register, with an attached bar adjacent, televisions everywhere blaring the current sports games. Everything in the dining room is essentially clean, the bathrooms as well, and everything works as intended. The staff are super friendly, from giving informed suggestions on the menu, to chatting it up with customers from the bar. The tacos are pretty damn good, but the sides are hit and miss. The rice felt a bit dry on both of my visits, and the black beans were super salty - the refried beans were spot on! All in all, worth the cost for the ambiance, damn decent food, and even more decent company, including other patrons. Would definitely visit again.
