Super fresh. Piping hot. Excellent rice and beans. Combo meals are fairly affordable. Flavor is not bad. Great location.
Their only Breakfast Burrito was MASSIVE, filled with way too much cheese but other than that it was great. I would like to see more breakfast burrito options added to your menu because I’m more of a bacon guy over ham. The burrito was ready in less than a minute, I was very impressed! I would like to return to try their authentic Mexican food as I’ve heard really great things
So, I've been coming here for many, many years. Anytime I find myself anywhere near Oceanside or San Diego, I plan a trip to come to Colima's. It has always been consistent and delicious. I fell in love with the shrimp tacos, but I've tried the California burrito, also amazing, and my kids all love the Carne Asada. My husband loves carnitas, and says they're the best. This is a family favorite. The pricing is completely fair, and everyone there is so friendly and great! Kid-friendliness: All 6 of my kids love it! No kids menu, but easy to share options. The quesadilla could feed 2 school aged kids. Parking: There's parking on the street out front, and a parking garage around the corner, if needed. Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair accessibility, but you have to go in, order, then go back out to the other door to get to the dining area, as there are stairs from entry to the dining area from inside, but it's not a big inconvenience.
