Saints Pub + Patio Waukee

We stopped at Saints following a movie. There were about 4 tables occupied. The place was empty. We ordered adult beverages and food. I got the fish & chips. The great part was the fish was crispy without a hint of grease! I had a couple of Mahattans which were delicious. But the food was typical bar foods. Not bad, but nothing extraordinary. I could get the same at every other bar in the metro.

Terrible experience. Waited over 3 hours for our food. When the food finally came out, the chicken strips were dry and overcooked. Staff that delivered the food to our table was rude. No one apologized for our wait or checked on the food that was delivered, as many orders were incorrect. I would find somewhere else to eat in Waukee.

The outdoor seating is great at sunset, just make sure you bring some mosquito repellant! Service is great, even during the busy evening hours. Food is on par with the price, which is hard to find at pubs these days. Highly recommend the Moscow mules, fishbowl margaritas, and the long islands!
