Sagano Japanese Restaurant

Such a quaint wholesome Japanese atmosphere! The food is incredibly delicious and the ambiance reminds you of Kyoto, Japan! They also were extremely thoughtful to create a nice surprise for my wife when we visited on her birthday! I recommend Sagano to everyone! Thanks again for the kind service. We will definitely be coming back soon!

Such a cute place for date night!! Colors are so vibrant yet the place is so low key and cute they are so nice and attentive. The service is a bit slow do to the master piece they come out with. The dishes are so well put together they don't just throw the sushi on a plate and call it a day the presentation is key and they are so good at that. Now let's talk about the dishes... They are so delicious! The fish is so fresh so vibrant, the taste is like no other the portions are big, we usually order alot because sushi sizes can be so small but in here they are big portions so hopefully you have a huge appetite. I love sushi and have gone to so many places but I find the small businesses to be more worth the money and they are definitely worth it . Drinks and dinner with my love was so romantic in this place after a hard day at work we came to unwind and that's exactly what it felt like in here.. This is my go-to sushi place in Barrington (lots of sushi options here). The quality compared to price for their standard rolls can't be beat. You pay more for the speciality rolls, but their standard rolls are cheaper then their nearby competitors, and they are so good/substantial that I never feel like I need a specialty roll.
