Tasty baked clams. One of the best burgers (medium rare) I've had in a long time. Fries were just right. And Nicole was incredible, handling both the bar and the dining room. Go there while you can.
A small, cozy restaurant. Tastier food choices, though limited.
Saban's is a place that's hidden due to the Joliet Road closing. Make a point to find it. Do not come here expecting modern decor and frills. This is a no-nonsense restaurant that clearly cares about the food. I had the Baked French Onion and the New York Strip. The soup was what it was supposed to be. The steak, on the other hand, was way above what I would have expected. It came with a beautiful char and was cooked perfectly medium rare. This was a full 16 oz. portion that would take two normal people to eat. You will not find a higher quality steak at that price anywhere around. I will be back and I will be back with more people.
