We've been to Salerno's plenty of times but it is just not the same. We specifically drove half an hour (when gas is so expensive) for their calamari in picante sauce but everything was just ok. I know they are short handed but service was slow and our nachos didn't have any guac or sour cream. When we asked she said it was out. Couldn't you tell us before because it was just not good without the stuff which we had to pay for. What if we ordered calamari and you just give us a lemon and some sauce and then say oh we're out. That is not acceptable. I don't think I will visit this place again. Plenty of bar food to choose from. Oh well. Another one bites the dust.

Friendly staff, great service. I went with our server’s recommendation. She was spot on. The picture doesn’t tell the whole story. The Italian beef sandwich was delicious. Thank you Gianna. I’ll definitely be back next time through. When you come, make sure you bring some extra $$. Salerno’s has off track betting site as well. ????
