S & S Cafeteria

The portions were small and it got expensive fast. 1 piece of chicken breast was $5.99. They would not tell us which items were on the 1 meat and 3 vegetables menu. The dining room was nice, but the line is like a maze to get to the actual food line and a few of the people, who portion the food for you, were rude and not helpful at all. 3 slices of their roast beef, cut thinner than a piece of bologna, cost $6.49 and once they start cutting, you get charged for it regardless. The drink cups you get are roughly 8-10 oz and they charge $2.99 per drink. Overall I will not going back and recommend not going unless you want to spend about $40 for 2 people with little help from the staff.

Nice people here and all, but the food here is not consistent like Wades in Spartanburg. When I come here, my food is different every single time. I have to send up a prayer that my food is good before ordering. Today I didn’t finish my plate. I ordered take out around 11:15. My macaroni was so watery, I had to pour the water/juice off of my plate into the sink, and the macaroni was still awful. The Sweet Potato Soufflé was watery as well. It tasted like it was not fully cooked. I had to doctor it up my Chicken Breast with some spices I have here at home. This was a complete waste of money today. I should’ve just went with my first choice of going to California Dreaming.
