Been looking for Northeastern style eggplant in the bay, and this is one of the very few places that makes it like it’s back in in the Northeast.Food is tasty, portions are good. Pretty good Chinese food with a variety of Northern and Southern cuisine. Some of our favorites were the soup dumplings, sliced beef pancakes, Dandan Noodles, and Glutinous Rice Balls with Fermented Sweet Rice Soup (N01). Service was friendly and food came out in a timely fashion. We got there early and didn't have to wait for a table. Prices were reasonable.

My 2nd time here. Their beef "burrito" is their best dish IMO. The beef is cut thin but full of flavor; the wrap is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside; combined with the bean paste, cucumber, and cilantro it really is a wonder dish to behold. Dry pot beef is very good as well. Beef is extremely tender. But because it is on par with similar dishes offer by other restaurant, it didn't wow me like their beef burrito did. My first time there, we also ordered their signature eggplant dish. It was very oily, but very yummy. It's hard to imagine that they could turn a simple eggplant into a entire dish. After eating there twice, I think that I may return for some beef burrito take out from time to time. And once in a while, I may come for a sit down meal.
