Royal Cafe

Terry served us a lovely chorizo and eggs and ham and cheese skillet. Yummy The dessert case looks especially royal: apple pie, Boston creme pie, and the blueberry thing. What a nice place to come to

I can't believe this place went down hill since the last time we were here. Wife had pork cutlet and it was burnt and so was the gravy, which my wife asked for on the side. Didn't come that way. I ordered lover and onions. I like it medium rare not well done which it was. Dusted with flour and that's what burned. We both reordered and they came the same way. I talked to owner, but he didn't comp anything. Sorry, but we won't be back.

Well I went to the Royal Cafe with my parents and they have been here several times. We went in chicken and dumplings special night so of course that’s what we ordered! The food was really good, it came quickly (as I would expect when ordering the special) the service was also good. There wasn’t very many people in the cafe while we dined and that could just be that dining out crowds maybe haven’t came back out in full force yet but my parents enjoy eating here and generally it appears the crowd of patrons are mainly older folks, not that there is anything wrong with that but it just seemed like a place where older people eat……we did even get some desert and it tasted great, we got it to go and ate it later at home that same night and we all enjoyed what we ordered. The special portions were large and my parents did have leftovers to take home. I would recommend this cafe to anyone wanting a good solid meal as their specials taste great and you get plenty.
