Riviera Restaurant

Worst experience I have ever I had in a restaurant establishment. Waited for over an hour which is no issue the problem was once seated the 4 people behind us where served before we even got our drink order placed. Once we made this aware, the waitress responds rudely and said they were understaffed. We were frustrated but continued to order. Then she once again rudely confronted us saying we order our drinks wrong. The waitress then walked away, my girlfriend being frustrated says to me, that she’s about to walk out. Then the waitress being about 5 feet away rushes over to our table, and tells us then “fucking leave then”, which is when we decided that was probably the best choice . So, if you want to wait over an hour for then to be rudely skipped and belittled by the staff then your local Riviera at 14819 N Dale Mabry is the place to go. By the way the the waitress was around her 60’s with short brown hair and skinny.

I stopped here on a weekday for breakfast. Corned beef hash is one of my favorite breakfast items and they certainly delivered. It was flavorful but not too mushy or salty. I am not often impressed with the way most restaurants make their eggs but these were so good! I also enjoyed the toast and home fries. Thank you for a great breakfast! Looking forward to my next visit.

Food came out incorrect, potatoes were not done. Pancake had a weird taste. Server Fabiola took forever for our order to be correct. Make sure you have cash as they don’t accept cards.
