Richard Walker's Pancake House

We have been coming to these restaurants for several years now. Well prior to Pandemic America, this restaurant has had a high standard of food and service. Today they are still serving an outstanding breakfast, bar none. Parking: Plenty of parking.

Waiter and most of staff was awesome! However, when the kids and I were leaving, we saw a handicap car accidentally left their doors open and lights on. So my concerned son went back inside to let the older hostess know. However, she completely ignored him, even after he politely tried getting her attention by saying, "excuse me." She looked at him then turned away. Some other people then entered, he again said, "excuse me," again she looked up at him, then took care of the other people who went inside and now around him. He waited there until I came back in to see what was taking so long, as he assumed and hoped the hostess would return. That's when he told me what happened, and our awesome waiter saw we were waiting back at the entrance, so he came over and inquired about our needs. My son communicated our concern and we left, with me having to say sometimes people don't hear (to which he said "no, she looked right at me") or older people don't always respect kids like mommy.... Ot

Very nice outdoor seating with umbrellas . Only thing I would recommend is a fence or barrier put up between outdoor seating and busy vehicle exit very close to tables. A little one can very easily run 8 feet out into street and get run over ! Food was excellent, and waiter friendly and very attentive on water and coffee refills !
