Good service, delicious food and fairly cheap. It was extremely busy on Saturday at 5 pm with lots of families waiting, but the 2 of us got a table quickly and we moved to the bar. We got only 2 appetizers and got pretty full: on the left: Puerto Rican sampler (1 beef empanada, 1 chicken empanada, 1 beef , 1 corn with cheese) - was hot and yum on the right: tostones (plantain baskets) with octopus - was cold and a bit soggy but good It was also a bit loud with the music guy testing the mic for too long (was a bit annoying), plates/cutlery falling and people talking loudly.
Man this place is cool! I’m from Miami and this definitely brought me back. My wife and I came for a quick lunch and I had the Palamilla steak with rice that had ham and bacon. The atmosphere is super hip and the stage looks tempting for a fun Friday or Saturday night. The food was good but I feel the steak was on the small side. I would definitely come back on a weekend night and try something else.
On Wednesday at 8:00 pm we give it a try, and it has been one of the great experience ever !!!. OMG the food..the place ???? . I had the pionono for the first time, i did not even have time to take a pic, it was amazing, my kids love it. Overall is a must try, even for the people that does don't like PR food.
