Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

Came in for lunch. It's been a long time since I'd been to a Red Robin. Unfortunately, this experience wasn't as good as my last experience. They weren't very busy at peak lunch time, only 4 out of the 12 tables in our section were occupied. Ordered a burger and fries. The food came out at a decent time frame, wasn't fast but didn't take a really long time either. Burger was good and came out medium rare as requested. But the disappointment was the fries. Was given a sparse amount of fries. For a restaurant advertising bottomless fries, why skimp on them? The waitress did come by and ask if we wanted more fries, but we were almost done and had to get back to work. Not the great experience I recall, as the other Red Robin's I went to (pre-covid) gave plenty of fries and asked if we wanted more shortly after we got our food. Burger was still good and I'd come back for that.

Food was good. But was never asked about getting more fries. Or refills on drinks. Waitress passed us up to check on other tables. We have my 10 month old with us and got a high chair. She was a sleep in her car seat so I was waiting for her to wake up while we were waiting for food. Waitress asked if she could take the high chair because it was in the way. I said no we are going to use it. Just waiting for her to wake up.

My meal was good but when I got home and reviewed the email of my bill they charged a $2,50 Entertainment fee. I assume this is for the tablet which I used only to look at the deserts menu and pay my bill. I will not use the tablets again if I go back I will make them run my card. This is in my opinion a bad way to run a business.
