I know this is the KFC of wannabe fine dining, but these lemons appear to have come from a dumpster and not recently. "Clam chowder" is worse than canned store bought soup - warm salty milk, with a few slivers of potato and some tiny tiny bits of clam (fun table game, try to find the clam). Lobster was inedible, tasted like aquarium smell, doesn't show well in photo but it was brown and Grey. Baked potato was evidently baked in a kiln, skin not only inedible but so hard as to be uncuttable. Steak was okay, over seasoned and id have guessed a cheaper cut than it supposedly is, but cooked properly. I am sure they'll blame covid, but one can only drive so many miles on that excuse before it starts to become clear it is more excuse than reason
We decided to come here for our anniversary dinner after a 3 hour drive home. We were super excited to eat here for the first time. We arrived and checked in at 7 pm and told the wait time was 50 minutes. No problem. However the wait turned into an hour and 20 minutes. What I didn't understand about the long wait time was that there were a lot of empty tables throughout the restaurant. We ordered and received our drinks right away and were told that the biscuits would be right out. Got our appetizers and we're again told the biscuits would be out soon. Received our meals began eating. Ordered more drinks and we're again told the biscuits would be out soon and given a half hearted apology. Finished our meals and about 5 minutes later were brought our biscuits and another lame apology. The worst part was being seated right next to the kitchen and listening to all the super young employees back there being super unprofessional. I was Super excited to have a nice romantic meal for out anni
Amazing food. I enjoyed eating here with my aunt today. Our waitress was amazing and the cheddar biscuits were on point.
