We came to celebrate my friend’s 35th birthday on Friday, 9/12 with 12 of us in total. The food was great, the atmosphere was amazing, but what turned out to be a huge surprise and let down was the service. We found the waiter serving our table quite cold and abrasive. While setting up the table, he handed me the paper menu and said “take it”. I was a bit confused by it and asked him what he meant. He said “take the menu so I can set up the table”. He could simply put the menu on the chair so that he can set up the tableware or at least be a bit more courteous instead of what almost felt like scolding. While taking people’s orders, instead of coming around to each people and taking their orders, he simply just stood there and pointed his fingers at each of us and shouted “you!”. I thought I was at my local bodega ordering a breakfast sandwich for a second. He also mixed up my friend’s dish and was very unprofessional about it. My friend ordered scallops but was handed the steak. She
Nice fine dining. I ordered the Filet Mignon China which comes with very interesting mini croissants filled with blue cheese. I didn’t die for the sprouts as they were a little burned to my taste. Fantastic service, the server was always checking us in. The ambiance is elegant but casual at the same time. Pistacho Creme Brûlée is such a creative a delicious dessert.
Seafood was great and fresh, and loved the oyster and crudite platter. Oh, and the creme Brule was divine. Great service and loved dining in their outdoor area so we could hear each other. Indoors was too loud IMHO, so if it's a nice evening definitely sit outdoors.
