Food is good, and the space is big enough. Cocktails are interesting but kinda too sweet for me, should add less syrup. Tea is brilliant. Soup dumpling is good, husband & wife special is good, tofu is great, but the fish is not spicy enough, cabbage is good too. I would recommend more people to share family style so you could have different dishes. For the second time visit, the cabbage is not as good as I had before. It used to be flat cabbage, which is much more tasty, but this time it’s not. The waiter keeps asking and wants to take the empty plates, a bit annoying.
Fantastic dinner but poor service. We ordered 7 or 8 dishes in total. They came in small plates but I had to say all of them were tasty. It’s an authentic Szechuan restaurant and a great place to try the spicy foods. Overall I think the shrimp and beef are the best, and the tofu is also a nice pick. The fried rice which came the first was exceptionally spicy and even my born-and-raised Szechuan friend couldn’t bear it. Nevertheless all the foods are great and it takes little time to be served. However I still have some more things to say about the service. We arrived at 5:35pm and, before we were seated, the waitress told us that we’d have to finish our meal before 7:00pm since they have another table to serve. And she told us that we have to agree on this to be seated. I understand that it was Saturday night but it made me feel bad. Another issue was during the whole time of our meal, we were continuously interrupted by waiters asking if they could take the plates away even when there
Quite an elaborate menu for food and drinks both. It was definitely vegetarian and kid friendly. We ordered mapo Tofu and fry pot with all my favorite vegetables and it was all fab. The portions were big and the taste was authentic. We went for Sunday lunch and all ate family style. A great meal!
