The whole experience was just okay. I mean the food was good, but not something I would come back for. Maybe I came on a bad day. I really wanted to like this place. Mostly writing this review to remind myself because I will forget I ate here, that is how easily forgettable I felt about this place. This place was above average. The food was good and fresh, the restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was comfortable. The double cheeseburger was a great size. The maxwell street dog was w a polish dog. We also ordered, fries, onion rings, a large drink and a plain hot dog. The total came out to $30-ish. We would eat here again.
I usually like Portillo’s but I ordered the wrong thing. I got a regular hot dog and it was okay. I wish I got the polish sausage next time. I do like their chicken sandwiches too.
