Crab N Spice - Glendale, AZ

I really wanted to like this place. Looking at the menu, it appeared to be a quieter version of Angry Crab Shack. My wife and I split a shrimp/crab/lobster/sausage plate and the seasoning was simply lacking. I assume they want you to just add spice to make up for it. The quality of the seafood was decent and the sausage was bland. The two star review from me is mostly because of the dismal service. We were spoken to by our waitress three times: ordering, receiving food, and to give us a check. We had a few things we wanted such as salt, pepper and butter for the corn, refills, etc. I tried to get her attention as we saw her serving two other tables, but she never so much as glanced our way. I had to flag down the hostess, who was pretty busy herself to ask for things. She was willing to help, but she shouldn't have needed to. It was not a particularly busy night and our waitress was not harried. If you want good seafood and good service, I recommend going somewhere else like Angry Cra

Clam chowder, creamy with good amount of clams. Perfect, definitely recommend. The Crab Fries so tasty, packed with enough flavors. The Castaway Combo freshest seafood boil I’ve had in Arizona. Customer service was great! Waitress was nice & the music was explicit, Kehlani & R&B vibes.

Nice menu options. Clean place and wasn't busy when we were there which seemed it deserved bigger crowds, but this time of the year and on Tuesdays may not be a lot of sports out. We were there closer to 1pm. Unusual that a restaurant doesn't open until noon. Would rather say 4.5 stars because fish breading seemed be a little overdone/dark. Flavor was good. Fries were good. Prices are reasonable for the area. Portions not big but not too small. Kid-friendliness: Had boosters and accommodated or grands just fine
