Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

We LOVED our experience tonight so this is my rave post It started with the call. I've never been here but I know they are a part of Darden and Darden restaurants are usually AMAZING. I call the restaurant to see if they offer call ahead seating, which they do, so I put our party in. Chris for a party of 11. They said they would see us at 6 to 630. We're celebrating my mother in laws birthday so there's 3 small kids, 3 big kids and 5 adults. When we get there, I am taken back by how fancy it looks. Definitely not what I was expecting. They have a super cool fish tank as you walk in and the more you walk through the restaurant the better it gets. The cleanliness was spot on and it was very tastefully decorated. We waited for 5 minutes and were seated almost right away. For a party of 11 we were shocked! I'd like to throw in that the manager was up at the front with the hosts greeting and holding doors. Update: we have been a few handful of times since it opened, including ordering to go items. Unfortunately, service is hit or miss. It's also very slow to get your food (tonight we waited 42 minutes from the time we ordered). However, overall, most of the food items we have ordered have still been really good. Seriously, I can't say enough good things about this place!! It was my first visit, so I'm hopeful that the experience stays the same as they grow. Keri was our server, and she was simply amazing!! Very helpful with choosing a meal, friendly, and never left us hanging. The food ... ugh!! SO GOOD... and surprisingly not expensive! It's officially my favorite place at Arrowhead. Wow, wow, wow! So worth going and trying! I will be going again and trying more dishes and maybe leave room for dessert! Service was great and friendly. You pay at the table with a kiosk and it makes it super easy. You get a complimentary honey butter croissants (which were light and airy), we got the cheddar fries appetizer (huge portion), and I got the ribs and chicken tenders combo. My bf got the shrimp and tenders. Both were great and the bf loved the lemonade (very tangy and delicious).
