Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

The Popeyes in Grandview always disappoints me. I’ve tried over and over to try to give them the benefit of the doubt and even try to go in a different times of the day and that still does not matter. The service and the food always sucks! This time we waited in drive-through for over 30 minutes and when we finally got up to the window they ran out of the feature nuggets that they had. Then I was asked if I would like to get chicken strips instead I said yes-1 order strips and an order of chicken wings originally ask for six but they could only do four but then said can do five. On my receipt I was charge for 2-5 piece chicken spicy tenders and one five piece custom wings my sides were fries and mash and I asked for an additional mashed potatoes. I did not get my mash but that doesn’t surprise me because the last two times I went there they have forgotten my sides. I always have the worst experience at this Popeyes in Grandview and they don’t put your amount or totals on your receipt.

Food and service are what you expect. Though, I think the people here are really nice. Nicer than other fast food places as of late. But man! The smell outside this place! There's something leaking somewhere and i don't want to have my window rolled down while I'm trying to decide what to order. Someone needs to get on that and fix it. I'm not about to throw up at the drive thru.

Shout out to the two young ladies working yesterday Monday June 12th around 5pm, who were super nice when I accidentally ordered two mashed potatoes online and actually wanted mashed potatoes & fries instead. She graciously had me pull back up to window & said she would honor my intended sides, but then they accidentally gave me another mashed potato lol, and I didn’t check bag until I had driven off, so I had to go back a 3rd time to get the fries. It was originally my mistake for ordering two mashed potatoes, so I take full responsibility for everything, but they were super friendly and gave excellent customer service with actual smiles. 5 stars for the service! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The restaurant was very clean. The food was packed neatly. The ghost pepper wings were very good, as was the fries & mashed potatoes. Biscuits was soft & buttery. Two of my strips were kind of old and hard, but the other two were nice & fresh. Overall a very pleasant experience.
