This was our first time here and not our last. We’ve been gouged at a lot of places in San Antonio that “claim” to have the best Italian food only to be left disappointed and still looking but this place has it!! It’s local. 1. Homemade bread served right away with a delicious olive oil, garlic, basil, feta mix. 2. Calamari in homemade tomato sauce where you have an option for it to be sautéed or fried (both are delicious) 3. A chicken piccata that was so delicious and real fettuccine Alfredo sauce that wasn’t dry (add the chicken!) 4. A DOCG Chianti under or about $20 a bottle! Come on! You can’t get that anywhere. Anyways. The staff was super friendly. The place was super clean. Atmosphere was fun! Loved the man singing tunes tonight! The bar looked nice. I have to add this. If you’re looking to go out, prices have gone up for everyone, restaurants and including mom & pop places. We’re going to continue to support local. Loved the food! We’ll be back soon! An entire dinner meal, with
The food is amazingly ???? delicious, just like 15 years ago. The downfall is that there is a visible leak by the main dome. The building must have mold build up, because as soon as you walk inside the building it has an intense musty smell. It is a serious health issue not only for clientele but also the staff that works there. ???? I hope that the company can fix this serious issue. It's such a shame for this devine restaurant to have this problem. I would only recommend take-out
It is good, but I've had better food for less. Lasagna was good, but nothing special. The Rustic Apple Pie was really good, but like I mentioned it is over-priced. Serving sizes was good and the vibe was very nice. Glad I went but not coming back.????♂️
