Both the prices and the food are great! Our waitress was helpful and kind. The portions were so big we had to take desert to go. I really loved the onion rings and the strawberry pie was delicious.
My compliments to the chef here. The Texas omelette was so big and full of meat I couldn't even finish it all. It covered more than half the plate. The hash browns were perfectly cooked crispy on the outside and perfectly soft inside. The biscuits were so flaky you almost had to use a fork. We had to wait about 5 minutes to get a seat available but even though they were packed the wait staff were super friendly and on top of everything.
This Jim's is and always be a staple for me. Three atmosphere is still great but sometimes the service is mediocre. The food is still pretty good though. Over all, still a nice place to go for a home cooked meal.
