Pollo Tropical

Ordered catering and person in the phone spoke terrible English. Sure enough, we got the wrong food. When I called to get it corrected, I was placed on hold for 36 minutes and no one ever came back to me. The party started and my son missed an hour of it because he drove down there in person to try to get it fixed. The manager refused to give him the pork we had ordered, but gave him $10 off a new order. So it still cost us an additional $48 and the rest of our food was cold by the time we ate. Grrr

I ordered two, large tropichop bowls for dinner. While very different, both were prepared well and with fresh ingredients. The young lady manning the drive thru window was pleasant, patient, and friendly. My mom and I typically enjoy our meals from this location.

Food itself was good, albeit, the portions were lacking. Not a good neighborhood though. You had several men camped out there playing a game of chess, as of they were in their hangout spot. Not the type of activity that I would want while I'm dining in, so I made my order a takeout.
