Pizzitalia’s NY Pizzeria

Wow, what a surprise. I am always searching for a delicious pizza joint and usually they fall a bit short… or fall very far from the path. However this pizza had the absolute perfect ratio of dough, to sauce, to crust to meat and cheese. The pizza itself was extremely flavorful but with good pure flavors, not just highly salted meat. Crust was the perfect consistency of crunch on the outside and soft chewy dough on the inside. Great job, will get again.

WOW. I was skeptical because 1) Florida pizza and 2) it's claiming to be NY pizza. As someone born and raised in NYC, I have high expectations. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. It tastes better than some places I have had in NYC. I was absolutely blown away and pleasantly surprised. This place is AN ABSOLUTE MUST. I am willing to say it is the BEST pizza in Florida. We ordered the pepperoni and it was very good but my favorite was the margherita. It was so delicious. I highly recommend you try it. Chris is the owner and his mother Maria is the sweetest; the best customer service I have ever received. She was extremely friendly, gave great recommendations, and was attentive. Her aura alone was so inviting. The location itself has a nice ambience, it's very spacious, and gives a NY vibe. We walked in and there were only 4 people and in a blink of an eye it was packed - rightfully so! The prices are more than reasonable especially for the portions. First visit to this great place. Excellent service Immediately upon entering. Complete menu with specials as well. Caesar salad done right ! Ordered the Saltimbucca and Penna ala Vodka, both absolutely scrumptious. The Fettuccine Alfredo side was enough for an entire entree! The table next to us ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu special that looked fantastic. Do your tastebuds a favor and check this place out.
