Pizzeoli is the perfect blend of casual/upscale dining. The resturant is on the smaller size with somewhere around 20 tables(so definitely get a reservation on busier nights) but the elegant, chic atmosphere allows a quiet and more intimate setting which can be perfect for a date night. Now onto the food itself. The neopolitan style pizza is absolutely incredible and should definitely be considered in the list of the top pizza places in STL. During this visit we tried the Heatstroke which featured habenero pineapple sauce, pepperoni, bacon, jalapeños, and a cheese combination that was incredible. We also had the aracini balls which were perfectly fried and crunchy and the garlic knots which tasted like a far superior cheddar bay biscuit somehow. Desert was also spectacular! We had the chocolate cake which was perfectly moist and decadent, and the espresso icecream which was freshly poured at the table which was awesome to watch! It was amazing! The marinara sauce was to die for! The pizza was also delicious !!! My drink was on point !! The service was also GREAT! Perfect spot! Next time I drive to St. Louis I will make sure to stop by again!
Service was horrible. We sat on the outside tables. Took over 45 minutes to order drinks (had to go inside and ask for them and was told someone would be out), then another 20 min tto order food. We asked for additional drinks and didn’t get them until we went back inside and asked. Appetizer came out later by another server. Arancini was really good. Drinks followed. Asked for Parmesan and water, had to go back inside and ask again. One of our pizzas came out about 30 minutes later. The second pizza came out long after the first one was gone, leaving people having to watch others eat. Pizza was hot, crust was very soggy and undesirable but the toppings were good. The toppings of the last pizza was the only thing eaten. We never was asked if everything was okay or a server checked on us until we went back inside. Oh, did I mention we had to go back inside to ask for our bill only to be told they would send them out! Waited another period of time to get it. He came out and I asked if
