One of the best bars in Soulard. They always have great music and food. Bartenders are friendly and fast. The owners are also very nice people. They also have a great outdoor area with outdoor bar. I always have a good time here.
My wife and I went there for lunch one afternoon. She had been there before and enjoyed the food. She spoke of the huge onion rings that were a specialty. She did not exaggerate. The rings were huge and we both were given five or six of them. Our entrees were delicious. She had a Reuben Sandwich. My meal was 1lb barbecue pork steak with pasta salad. In addition to the good food, out waitress was first rate. The atmosphere reminded me of a small bar. All of this helped to make eating here an enjoyable experience.
Hammerstone’s is 100% Soulard STL vibes. This cozy little neighborhood bar has live music all days of the week. The chicken tenders are some of the best in STL. Service was fast and super friendly. Love this place.
