Good sushi place in South Reno. Not the best I have had, but still good when you have that craving. We ordered a variety of appetizers, rolls, and nigiri. Some weren’t brought out or were forgotten about, but that’s okay since we filled up and we’re no longer interested. AYCE prices are posted but I don’t see the times differentiating between lunch and dinner times. Menu has options in case you dine with kids. The prices are decent and comparable to other sushi joints here. It was clean, well lit, and not crowded… we dined in on a Monday so it was pretty laid back. Waited for the check for a while but it gives us time to kinda sit back and digest a bit. Overall a great experience especially since food came out quick.
I have been coming here for years, the staff are great and the food is usually awesome. The reason I knocked my review down a couple of stars is because on my last visit, I contracted a case of food poisoning. My boyfriend was fine but he and I got different rolls. I believe this is very likely a one-off instance and I just got unlucky because this has never happened in my years of coming here before. I wish to continue to support this business but it will be a while before I feel comfortable dining here again.
Pretty standard AYCE Sushi joint. Nice atmosphere albeit a bit cave-is feeling with little to no natural light. Big TVs to watch is nice. Decent menu selection. Average fish quality pretty much like most other AYCE places and typical price. I like that they had scallop on the Nigiri menu as not all places have that. No Escolar White Tuna which is a favorite (different than Albacore.) Good roll selection and I like that many of the rolls were spicy. Parking: Easy parking
