Atmosphere was nice with a band playing in the outdoor area. Ordered and paid for food and waited about 40 minutes. At that point we asked a server (the one that took our order was nowhere to be found) who said they could make it right then. Brought food out a few minutes later. Curry veggies was served not room temp/warm, but slightly cold. Flavor was good but cold curry isn’t great. They were out of plantain, which we didn’t know until the food was at our table. Rice and peas was hot and pretty good.
Good eats wings, beef patties. The rice and peas could of been a tab bit more seasoning for my taste but over all pretty good. The ambiance was perfect. We watched live band reggae music my fave. Very nice chill spot.
The energy in here is heavy. Something about this place radiates low vibration. But in a positive light, guess that just means it's chill right?. Anyhow I came here for a open mic. I arrived before it started, had a lite bite, performed a couple songs, stuck around until close. Can't say this isn't a place to past time but more enthusiasm or uplifted energy would be nice. The quality of the food says the same. Coconut rice was blan, beans were dried out, and plantains were tough, not tender.
