Black Forest Inn

The waiter was visibly stressed and overworked which ruins the ambiance to a certain degree. He would complain just loud enough for customers to hear when he needed to clean a table before seating new customers which then they would apologize to him and say they could wait. The food was ok but seemed overpriced and he messed up our orders giving my husband the lunch size portion instead of me. My husband then received 2 lunch sized plates to make up for it but also didn't charge us correctly as I was charged for a dinner plate and my husband a lunch plate so it was reversed. Only off by a few dollars so we just let it go. Food came quick but that was the only positive part of our dining experience.

I have been dining at this establishment for years. Never have I had anything bad. The food tends to be delightfully savory and the drinks top shelf. The decor alone is worth a visit. Utterly beautiful. No place else like it around! Parking: Restaurant has its own parking lot

Not sure if they still use the strapline "do German it's not funny" but it is the most authentically German thing that I've encountered in North America. Have eaten here quite a few times, & the food has always been top notch, consistently over about 20 years now I think. If you like Schnitzel, etc, you'll love this place.
