I apologize for the sideways photos. I have NEVER walked away from this place displeased. Their food is always hot and fresh. "Flavorful and delicious" is hardly enough to begin describing the food they make. Water is always brought out right away. I have been coming here since they first opened and the atmosphere only gets better. The fresh in-house made noodles are worth more than the $0.50 upcharge. These shrimp rolls were new to the menu the last time I went and my 7year old wanted to snatch more than her fair share because they were absolutely scrumptious. I always bring people here. I insist they try it. I've gotten a few hooked. Phở Tươi is my happy place!!!!
The pho was good, and the pork chop is decent. The chicken and rice dish is a bit dry and bland. Husband said the eggrolls were lacking more filling, but taste was good. Spring rolls were ok, nothing stood out from them. The ice coffee is interesting, it has almost a smoky taste to it. Couldn't tell if the coffee beans were slightly burnt or if that's how they intended it to taste. It wasn't terrible but the taste was interesting. Service was decent. They were nice enough. However. Make sure you check your menu because all the prices are different. We had 3 menus with 3 different prices. One menu said my entree was 13.99, while another person had 14.99 listed and my husband's menu said 16.99. I asked and she said it was 14.99. They should fix that error. Every menu we had at the table was inconsistent.
This became our go to Pho place in the northland. Go with the house noodles. They seem to be on the slow side when they get busy but that seems to be common by all locally owned restaurants. I wouldn't make it an experimental quick lunch on a workday unless you are familiar or have the time, but it has never caused us an issue. If you are headed in or around the downtown area or further southwest into the Kansas side priorities may change due to personal preference, but on the north side it is hard to beat.
