Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse

A pizza spot located in grandscaoe. Has a nice wine list and cocktails. The pizza is good but customer service needs abit help. No vegetarian options are available. Nice for groups though. All in all, it's okay but not the best.

We ate here on a Saturday night- busy time, of course. We had a 35 minute wait, which we happily spent wandering around the fall decor outside. We ordered the Five Boroughs pizza (meats and veggies). The atmosphere was lively, sports themed. Game was on and people were enjoying themselves. Recognizing that everyone has a favorite pizza style, I know I’m wading into dangerous terrain here- I found the pizza to be decent, but not something to write home about. The crust was nice. Somewhere between thick and thin and it had a nice crunchy bottom. I found the sauce to be…fine. Average. The toppings were pretty unevenly distributed, but the main concern was that there was a lot of greasy oils. I actually blotted my slice with my napkin before I took a second bite. The location and food at Parry’s is amazing. We enjoyed the patio food and delicious buffalo pizza The server was inattentive. We only saw her when she took our order and brought the check. Other than that we had to ask the food runners of people passing by for thing. The server didn’t put our appetizer in so we just got our food. I asked a food runner for refills on two waters and she picked up the cups by placing her fingers inside the cup to grab them. It’s disappointing to find good food with bad service.
